Australia’s Su Oh becomes the third LPGA pro to win a Lamborghini with an ace

Stop us if you’re heard this one before: an LPGA player just won a two-year lease on a Lamborghini for making a hole-in-one at the Pelican Women’s Championship.

Su Oh, the first player to tee it up on the par-3 12th hole during today’s final round at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, jarred her tee shot with a 7-iron on the 143-metre hole to become the third tour pro to claim the prize this week at the LPGA’s penultimate tournament of 2021.

Yes, the third tour pro to be driving off with a Lamborghini.

🚨 ACE ALERT 🚨@suohgolf aces the par-3 157 yard 12th hole with her 7-iron at the @pelicanlpga!

Oh follows in the exhaust fumes of Austin Ernst, who made her ace during Monday’s pro-am, and Pavarisa Yoktuan, who made her 1 during the second round.

Give credit to Morgan Auto Group, an official tournament sponsor with multiple dealerships across Florida, for providing the offer in the first place. However, we’re sure hoping the company took out hole-in-one insurance; the Lamborghini Huracan on display by the tee retails for roughly $US300,000. And given that Golf Channel has been streaming the hole live this week, there’s been a good bit of drama for those following the Lambo giveaway.

Half of the @LPGA tour is going to be driving Lamborghini’s next year @LamboSarasota! 🤦‍♀️ #Amazing https://t.co/YW1KrfnVbw

However, we’re guessing three people winning the offer is at least two more than everybody bargained for. If somehow the offer is out there again in 2022, we’re guessing the pin positions will get a tad bit more challenging.
